In this course, students will receive 8+ hours of total live instruction via Zoom over four weeks, Thursday nights 6-8:00PM MST starting Sept 14th and ending Oct 5th, 2023.

Students will paint the 12pc Pumpkin Fairy Garden with Mice Set alongside the instructor in real time and will learn the drybrushing technique, shading with pastels, working with antiquing mediums and adding fine lines and details. The price of this class is for instruction only. The bisque must be purchased separately and is available from Elizabeth Riser (or any shop that has the mold) and shipping is additional. Window cutouts are an additional $45 charge and will have to be special ordered from Elizabeth.

Supplies are the student's responsibility and the list of brushes and paints will be posted approx. 3-4 weeks prior to the first class. Chances are you'll probably have some similar brushes in your paint arsenal already.  Pre-course work will include base coating the entire set before the first class and instructions and photos for that will be provided to students 2-3 weeks prior to the first class. Homework will be required in between classes in order to complete the set in a timely manner.

Before, during and after the course, each student will have unlimited access to the instructor via email, Facebook, phone or video chat for any issues, questions or concerns that may arise.

Links to the brushes used most in class, as well as where to purchase PanPastels are available in the shop section of the website. You can use any pastels you have in this class, you're learning the technique, so stick pastels will work too. However, if you would like the PanPastels, the 20ct is the set that we use most in classes. Students will learn how to mix pastel and/or paint colors as well.

All instructions and Zoom information is posted on the Spaces by Wix app and can be downloaded in your App Store. In the event that you are unable to attend the live class, all sessions are recorded for playback for paying students only. Each week during the course, approximately 24-48hrs prior to the live class, you will receive login information for the Zoom online platform. It is recommended to attend the class either on a laptop, home computer or tablet and the Zoom app can be downloaded in the App Store of your choice.

Once you have completed your purchase, you will receive an email with confirmation and a link to download Spaces. Because all classes are recorded for playback, refunds will not be given if students are unable to attend live.
